About 30 minutes A person, not a portal

Talk to us first

Thirty minutes on your book before anyone asks for an NPN. What you write, which carriers you already hold, whether a release is involved, your states, and how your desk works leads.

What the call covers

Six things, roughly in this order. If one of them is the only thing you care about, say so and we will spend the whole half hour there.

Commission levels depend on your production and your structure, so they are discussed on the call rather than published. How commissions work.

Request a call

There is no booking widget here. Send this and a person replies with times, usually the same day.

Anything you put here we will have read before the call starts.

What to bring

Six things make this useful

  • Your carrier list. Who you are appointed with today, and roughly what each one contributes to your production.
  • Your states. Resident license, any non-resident licenses, and the states you want to add next season.
  • Your product mix. Medicare Advantage, Part D, Medicare Supplement, final expense, and whichever ancillary lines you attach.
  • Your current FMO situation. Whether you are contracted elsewhere, and whether you have already asked about release.
  • Your structure. Solo producer, a downline, or a sales floor, and how many writing agents if it is either of the last two.
  • What is broken today. The specific thing that made you look. That is usually the most useful sentence in the call.

Who tends to book one

Different questions, same half hour.

  • Producers whose upline went quiet. Usually here because a submission sat for weeks and nobody chased it.
  • Agency owners building a downline. Hierarchy structure, override visibility, and a technology package that makes recruiting easier.
  • Agents who are paying for their stack separately. A dialer subscription, a quoting tool, and a lead vendor, all billed apart from the contract that was supposed to support them.
  • Producers new to the senior market. Coming from another line and wanting a structured first thirty days rather than a login and a carrier list.

FAQs

About the call

How long is the call?

About thirty minutes. Most of it is spent on your book and your states, because that is what decides whether we can improve on what you have. If you want to go deeper on the technology or on hierarchy structure, we book more time rather than rushing it.

Do I have to be ready to contract?

No. A fair number of these calls end with us telling a producer to stay where they are, usually because their production is concentrated with a carrier their current organization holds at a good level. The call is still worth having, because you will leave it knowing what to ask your current upline.

Will you tell me my commission level on the call?

We will tell you how levels work here, what moves them, which carriers support advance versus as-earned, and how overrides are structured if you have a downline. Your actual placement depends on what you write and how your structure is set up, so it is a direct conversation rather than a published table, and we will put it in writing before you complete any packets.

What if I am mid-contract with another FMO?

Then release is the first thing we look at, carrier by carrier. We will tell you honestly what release usually requires, what waiting periods tend to apply, and whether this is the right month to start. Sometimes the answer is to finish the season where you are. See moving FMOs without stranding your book.

Do I have to buy leads?

No. Lead programs from Solved Marketing are priced and purchased separately from the contract, and nothing about your contract or your level depends on buying them. Plenty of producers contract here and work their own book or their own marketing.

Can I skip the call?

Yes. If you already know what you want, go straight to the contracting form and we will start on packets. The call exists for producers who would rather ask questions before handing over an NPN.
